We are looking for a skilled Data Support Analyst to join our Data Academy.
Responsibilities:
- Production Support: Provide first-level support in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring system stability and adherence to defined SLAs.
- Incident Management: Monitor, triage, and resolve production incidents through effective code reading and troubleshooting. Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 support when needed.
- Code Comprehension: Analyze and interpret Java, SQL, Airflow, and Databricks code to identify the root cause of production issues, without being responsible for new feature development.
- Collaboration with Juniors: Support and mentor junior developers by helping them understand system behavior, troubleshoot issues, and improve their code comprehension skills.
- Daily Reviews: Conduct daily incident reviews and maintain documentation to ensure continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Prioritization and Escalation: Prioritize tasks effectively under pressure and ensure critical issues are escalated appropriately.
- Infrastructure Coordination: Work closely with infrastructure teams to support operational needs and manage technical blockers.
- General Stack: SUPRA, Microstrategy, Hue (Hive/Impala), Scala, Power BI, PySpark, TrueDat, Airflow, Hadoop, Databricks, Qlik.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in support and technical analysis.
- Strong code reading & comprehension, especially in Java.
- Proven experience in incident resolution and troubleshooting within SLA-driven environments.
- Solid understanding of SQL, Airflow, Databricks (training provided but familiarity preferred).
- Teamwork with Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration and mentoring juniors.
- Comfortable working under pressure and in high-urgency settings.
- English level at least B2.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in production support or site reliability engineering roles.
- Background in scripting or light development tasks is a plus.
- Prior experience with data engineering workflows or ETL systems is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze and debug production issues independently.
- Fluency in Spanish would be highly valuable.
- Bank treasury fundamentals are an asset.
