Your Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive SecOps Specialist to join our Cybersecurity team in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, serving as the first line of defense for the organization. As the main point of contact with the Artificial Intelligence Data Center team, you will ensure effective communication and collaboration during incident management. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with stringent European cybersecurity regulations and in protecting our organization from evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security alerts and events across various platforms to identify and respond to potential incidents in a timely manner.
  • Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the AIDC team and other relevant internal and external stakeholders during security incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to identify gaps and improve future responses.
  • Develop, document, and maintain incident response procedures, playbooks, and escalation protocols.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies (e. g. , SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS).
  • Stay up to date on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements in Europe.
  • Support compliance efforts related to GDPR, NIS2, and other relevant European cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in security operations, incident response, or a similar cybersecurity role.
  • Strong knowledge of European cybersecurity regulations and frameworks (e. g. , GDPR, NIS/NIS2).
  • Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and incident response processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus).
  • Relevant industry certifications (e. g. , CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIA, GCIH) are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation, if required.
