Overview

At ING we are looking for Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Cybersecurity Expert to join our Security Team of CISO. ING takes an integrated approach to security, with cyber and physical security squads working in the same team to keep the back safe and secure. We are looking for a threat hunter comfortable in both the cyber and physical realms.

Your role and work environment

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Expert to join the Security Team within CISO. The role involves threat hunting across cyber and physical security domains and contributing to the security process with a joint goal of keeping ING secure.

Your mission

• Perform analysis of threat actors for the enhancement of detection catalogs and hunt missions by leveraging the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Review intelligence sources (local and global, covering physical and logical security) and transform those reports into actionable improvement proposals.
• Conduct manual and automated tests to identify potential security threats in ING assets (internal and external).
• Lead or assist on key processes: Threat hunting, Incident management, Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, OSINT investigations, Physical security tests, Investigating attacker TTPs to improve Security Event Monitoring, Internal monitoring of attacks and intrusions, Detection of fake mobile applications and banking malware, Securing IT infrastructure, Fraud assessment on presential channels (branches), Consultancy.
• Lead or assist consultancy and large/complex customer programs; provide technical support to cross-discipline teams; problem resolution; project management; cross-discipline delivery across core programs/projects.

Your key responsibilities

• As a Cybersecurity Expert you will conduct periodic scheduled tests to assess the security of systems and processes.
• Proactively review ING environment to identify security gaps.
• Monitor latest industry threat hunting standards, analyze impact and work with teams to mitigate risks.
• Continuously analyze ING's threat landscape based on intelligence sources and propose mitigations.
• Manage law enforcement/court requirements and channel them to appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the business impact of identified technical risks.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Computer Science / Telco Engineer (preferred)
• Criminology degree with strong IT background
• At least 3 years of experience
• Experience in risk advisory services with a focus on information security, cyber security and IT risk management
• High level of English
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Knowledge of the financial sector is a plus
• Knowledge of cybersecurity OSINT and hunting tools
• Ability to multi-task, self-direct, manage deadlines and work in a team
• Lateral thinking and hacking mindset
• Certifications like OCSP, CEH, CHFI or CISSP are a plus
