The ideal candidate should have experience and understand what is required of an independent cook in a kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing lunches and dinners, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring dishes are of the highest quality. A minimum of an Intermediate or Upper-intermediate (B1-B2) level of English is required.

Main responsibilities include:

• Cooking experience and willingness to support the Chef and colleagues in the kitchen.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure at times.
• Prioritizing quality in food preparation and hygiene.
• Overseeing washing, vegetable preparation, cleaning, snack and dish preparation, mise en place.
• Assisting the head chef or managing your own section in the kitchen.

Requirements:

• At least an Intermediate or Upper-intermediate (B1-B2) level of English.
• Studies in Gastronomy.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the gastronomy sector.

What do you get?

• Contract under Dutch collective agreement.
• Gross salary from €13 to €15.50 per hour (+21 years old). Monthly gross salary ranges from €2,140 to €2,550. Tips: €300 net.

• At least 2 meals included during work hours.
• Workweeks averaging between 35 and 60 hours, with high season exceeding 40 hours/week.
