About the role:

The Cloud Financial Operations Specialist will support our Cloud Marketplace and Process team by engaging with partners and customers to optimize their cost for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Vendors such as Microsoft, Google & AWS . The role involves designing optimal use cases for Virtual Machine allocation, Reserved Instances, Saving Plans and creating customer-facing dashboards using Power BI.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with partners and customers to support their cost optimization activities for IaaS.

  • Work on Microsoft Azure to manage and optimize virtual machine allocation.

  • Create and maintain customer-facing dashboards using Power BI to provide insights and support decision-making.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, finance, legal and IT, to ensure appropriate documentation and coordination of new processes.

Basic Skills and Experience:

  • Apptio FinOps Certified Focus Analyst.

  • Experience in IaaS Cost Optimization.

  • Working experience with Microsoft Azure.

  • Solid understanding of ecommerce and data handling.

  • Experience in creating automations with Python and/or Power BI.

  • Knowledge and experience in virtual machine allocation.

  • Experience in creating customer-facing dashboards with Power BI.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills in English.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of AWS and GCP Cost Optimization features.

  • Experience in software licensing, support, or account management functions.

  • IT channel experience with Pan-European distributors or software vendors.

  • Solid understanding of vendor dynamics within IaaS or SaaS distribution channel.
