A leading global terminal operator is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Global Asset Engineering and Design team. This role involves supporting civil and marine infrastructure projects globally, requiring effective communication skills and a degree in Civil or Marine Engineering. With 3–7 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will help translate operational needs into technical specifications while working in cross-functional teams. The position is based in Barcelona, with expected global travel of around 20%.

You will be part of Global Asset Engineering and Design team, a corporate function in APM Terminals HQ, responsible for the technical and financial evaluation of terminal development and investment projects across APM Terminals’ global portfolio.
We are looking for a Civil Engineer to support the development and delivery of civil and marine infrastructure projects across APM Terminals globally.
In this role, you will contribute to translating operational and commercial needs into technical specifications, participate in developing Employer’s Requirements, and support project execution alongside senior engineers and external consultants.
Reporting to Head of Global Asset Engineering and Design, position will be based preferably in The Hague or Barcelona. (Expected global travel is around 20%).
