We are seeking a

System Lead for Chromatography application systems with experience with Akta / Unicorn systems to work closely with global Chromatography Services staff, sister IT groups, and laboratory scientists to support the global chromatography systems of our client in the pharmaceutical sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as System Lead (Deputy) for chromatography applications, supporting the global Unicorn System and related systems.
  • Create, maintain, and manage System Life Cycle (SLC) documentation, including support for audits.
  • Provide system support: troubleshooting, issue analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with packaging, security, and networking teams to manage software updates and system enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA GxP regulations and internal validation processes.
  • Support international projects, considering cultural and organizational differences.
  • Balance multiple priorities to ensure timely delivery of business commitments.
SKILLS:
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, Windows operating systems, and Terminal Server technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with computer systems validation and FDA GxP regulations.
  • Solid background in relational databases, SQL querying, and reporting tools.
  • Proven experience in global system support.
  • Degree in Information Technology or Life Sciences.
  • Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Knowledge of Akta / Unicorn Chromatography Systems.
  • German language skills to support laboratories in Germany and Austria.
  • Developer / Programmer skills beneficial for customization and automation.
  • Previous experience in laboratory IT systems or regulated environments.
  • Flexibility to work remotely (not required to be based near Barcelona).
SCHEDULE:

08/09h - 17/18h from Monday to Friday (flexible), 100% remote.
