CASHIER

Department: Retail

Reporting to: Store Manager

Receive, disburse and process all transactions in accordance with the Company policy and protocol while providing outstanding customer service to the Michael Kors customer.

Responsibilities
  • Customer service
    • Provide the highest level of customer service by greeting each customer in a warm and friendly manner
    • Respond to customer questions and concerns quickly and effectively as well as ensuring customer satisfaction
    • Provide customers with information on procedures or store policies
  • Operations
    • Compute and record totals of transactions
    • Assist with counting cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that float amounts are correct and all registers contain adequate change
    • Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
    • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
Job Requirements
  • Experience of retail and cash management
  • Able to work as a team member
  • Excellent personal organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work under pressure and to thrive in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Able to work on different tasks easily; multi-tasking
  • Able and willing to deliver an exceptional customer service
