A leading engineering consulting group in Spain is seeking a skilled Buyer with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in EPC projects, strong negotiation, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. This position offers a permanent contract with a salary range of approximately 30-43K, hybrid working conditions with flexible hours, and various benefits including private health insurance and a comprehensive training platform.

Formación

  • Proven +2 years of experience as a buyer at EPC projects (oil & gas or energy preferable).
  • Strong knowledge in EPC Projects.

¿What would you be doing in your day a day?
  • Ensure compliance with directives and corporate / project procedures.
  • Commercial management of the assigned purchases and purchase orders.
  • Supplier and bidder evaluation and selection.
  • Launch of Requests for quotation and expediting timely receipt of bids.
  • Evaluation, clarification and negotiation of sound bids.
  • Manage complex contracts with numerous commercial clauses, payment milestones, compliance requirements, guarantees, etc.
  • Issue of final Commercial Tabulation and recommendation.
  • Preparing of award proposals.
  • Issue and follow-up of approved Purchase Orders, including changes and final close out.
  • Participate in kick‑off meetings and solve commercial issues during PO execution.
  • Internal expediting and close coordination with other departments and project.
  • Provision of related reports and status.

What do we need from you?
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven +2 years of experience as a buyer at EPC projects (oil&gas or energy preferrable)
  • Strong knowledge in EPC Projects
  • Strong analytical skills to manage complex contracts with numerous commercial clauses, payment milestones, compliance requirements, guarantees, etc.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams, fostering a harmonious and goal-oriented work environment.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
