LGT Digital Factory (Spain) S.L. is seeking a Business Process Engineer and/or Workflow Automation Developer for our Barcelona Office.

The core of our automation initiative is Flowable, an open-source Java-based workflow engine executing BPMN 2.0 business processes.

As a Business Process Engineer focusing on Flowable, you will be part of the Business Process Automation team, supporting innovative business needs across Spain, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and Singapore.

This role offers the chance to develop a deep understanding of various business processes to support our international banking operations and client interactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Requirement Analysis & Collaboration

• Analyzing current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, aligning with business goals.
• Mapping and documenting detailed business processes with visualizations and documentation for optimization and compliance.
• Collaborating with business experts to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensuring successful implementation.
• Recommending and implementing process improvements, including automation, to boost productivity and KPIs.

Development & Quality Assurance

• Designing, developing, and maintaining BPM solutions focusing on quality and scalability.
• Conducting comprehensive testing, including test automation using tools like UI Path.

Change Management, Tool Support & Incident Management

• Supporting change management initiatives through training and communication.
• Providing tool support and implementing enhancements for better performance and functionality.
• Resolving incidents and defects in BPM solutions.

Your profile

To succeed, you should have:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• 2-4 years of experience in consulting or the financial industry.

Workflow Management Expertise

• Strong knowledge of BPM, including requirement analysis, workflow design, testing, and automation.
• Proficiency in Flowable or similar BPM platforms, BPMN, and process digitalization.

Full Stack Development Skills

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular
• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, API integration (REST)
• DevOps: Gitlab, OpenShift
• Database: SQL, Oracle

Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking Systems.
• Certifications in BPM, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Excellent proactive communication skills and international collaboration ability.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex business needs.
