A leading travel services company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain. Responsibilities:
  • Identify partnership opportunities
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship
  • Proven experience selling travel-related services, software or tech to tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, cruise companies. . etc. .
  • Worked at or with companies such as tour operatators, DMC, NDC, bed banks
  • Understands the dynamics of the B2B2C travel value chain(inventory, commission models, ancillary revenue)
Target Client Background:
  • Mid- to large-size tour operators, DMCs, wholesalers, and traditional travel trade partners
  • Familiarity with outbound travel from Europe, LATAM, MENA or Asiamarkets
Key Skills:
  • Strong relationship-buildingwith product, contracting, and commercial teams
  • Experience with XML/API integrations, ancillary upselling, and value-added service packaging are a plus
  • Skilled in pitching solutions that enhance the end-user (traveler) experiencewhile driving partner revenue
Location & Language:
  • Based in Barcelona
  • Fluent in English; Spanish, French, or German are strong assets depending on region
