Description

This Business Development Manager role focuses on ESG, specifically in osapiens’ product area: Business Partner Transparency. Through the osapiens HUB, we position ourselves at the forefront of the sustainability movement, enabling companies to fully comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), calculate their corporate carbon footprint, and prepare for compliance with the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.

As a Business Development Manager at osapiens, you will be championing lead generation initiatives within the realm of corporate sustainability for the Nordic –UKI market. By researching target companies, initiating product pitches, and nurturing qualified leads, we aim to expand our reach and empower organisations to embrace sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on target industries and market segments to uncover and qualify new business opportunities across the Nordics and the UK.
  • Utilise various prospecting methods, including networking events, online platforms, and industry publications, to uncover new leads.
  • Customise messaging to resonate with the specific needs and pain points of each prospect.
  • Implement strategic timing for outreach efforts to maximise engagement and response rates.
  • Provide timely and personalised follow-up communication to nurture leads and maintain their interest.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Executive team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
  • Continuously update and maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
  • Analyse data and metrics from CRM reports to track lead generation performance and identify areas for improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development and/or lead generation, focused on new customer acquisition
  • Proven experience in the Nordics and UKI markets, with knowledge of industry dynamics, customer behavior, and market entry strategies
  • Results-driven, with a track record of meeting KPIs and achieving measurable business outcomes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative, eager to contribute to team goals
  • Fluent English; knowledge of Swedish or Danish is desirable
  • ESG experience is a plus but not mandatory
