Role description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our growth strategy across payments, e-money, and payment orchestration solutions. This is a leadership role, responsible for defining and executing the commercial vision, building high-impact partnerships, and driving revenue at scale.

What You\'ll Do
  • Set the strategy: Define and execute the company’s commercial growth plan within the fintech and payments ecosystem.
  • Lead business growth: Identify, structure, and close high-value opportunities with merchants, fintechs, banks, PSPs, and marketplaces.
  • Drive adoption of orchestration solutions: Position our payment orchestration platform as the preferred choice for enterprises seeking routing optimization, redundancy, and cost efficiency.
  • Build strategic alliances: Develop partnerships with banks, acquirers, processors, card schemes, and technology providers to strengthen our ecosystem.
  • Shape the market position: Represent the company at industry events, panels, and forums, enhancing our visibility and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate internally: Work closely with product, compliance, and technology teams to align commercial strategies with innovation and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor: Build, guide, and scale a high-performing business development team.
  • Deliver measurable results: Own revenue targets, pipeline growth, and partner engagement KPIs, reporting directly to the CGO.
What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Deep knowledge of payments ecosystems, e-money, and orchestration platforms.
  • A proven track record of delivering revenue growth and scaling commercial teams.
  • Strong network of decision-makers across banks, acquirers, PSPs, and fintechs.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at both high-level and operational detail.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (PSD2, AML, PCI DSS, e-money licensing).
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
