For our office in adesso Spain, we are looking for a skilled Back-end Developer to join our international team — someone with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client interactions.

You will be part of the client's project development team, where your mission will be to design and deliver robust, secure, and scalable web applications.

Work Setup:

• Hybrid model: a mix of remote work and regular on-site presence at the client's office in Barcelona.
• Occasional travel to Germany every 1–2 months .

What We're Looking For:

• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture .
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud) as well as unit testing (JUnit, Mockito...).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS...).
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).
