About the location:

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service, smooth workflow, and guest satisfaction. This role includes supervising staff, coordinating service, maintaining standards, and assisting in administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.

What you will do
  • Will ensure that our guests receive the service living the Four Seasons values, will show consistent behavior creating a positive impact by passionately serving others, internal or external customer.
  • Support her/his employees and colleagues to achieve common objectives, encouraging change and promoting learning, show your knowledge and provide experience to her/his colleagues to develop their skills.
  • Make storeroom requisitions, taking care of the financial side but ensuring the operational and service side.
  • Help make purchase orders in the absence of the manager.
  • Maximize and supervise resources for the performance of employee functions in the department, always avoiding misuse and waste, and always teaching how to preserve equipment in operation.
  • Supervise compliance with product rotation. First in first out.
  • Assist in inventories of equipment and operational products.

  • Follow up on employees training and follow the procedures to perform tasks with operational systems.
What you bring
  • Previous experience in multiple food & beverage assistant department head experience
  • Strong knowledge of the service and operation of Restaurant & Bar.
  • A college degree specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.

  • High level in reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Spanish language.

Schedule & Hours

Seasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).
