Job Title

Architect Platform Engineering

Overview

You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our ServiceNow platform by guiding architectural strategy, platform evolution, and integration across enterprise systems. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how technology supports business transformation.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Define the long-term architectural blueprint for ServiceNow across domains including Information Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR), Finance, Risk, and Procurement.

• Guide platform maturity efforts such as Configuration Management Database (CMDB) enhancement, automation, Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps), and predictive analytics.

• Design comprehensive solution architectures that integrate with core enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, and Salesforce.

• Ensure platform rationalization, instance strategy, and alignment with data residency regulations.

• Collaborate with transformation partners, Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and security teams to shape platform governance and funding approaches.

• Evaluate new platform capabilities (e.g., Now Assist, Generative AI, Data Fabric) and help shape the adoption roadmap.

• Has good development experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python, demonstrating flexibility across technology stacks.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Has 10+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including at least 3 years in an architecture role focused on long-term planning at enterprise scale.

• Demonstrates a good understanding of architectural patterns, compliance requirements, and cloud-native integrations.

• Has experience guiding multi-domain ServiceNow implementations across global environments.

• Holds certifications such as ServiceNow Master Architect or Technical Architect. Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and multiple Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are needed.

• Comfortable engaging with senior leadership and communicating platform strategy clearly and effectively.
