Overview

Application Developer (9-month contract with bonus incentives) – Madrid, Barcelona. We are looking to fill this role immediately and are reviewing applications daily. Expect a fast, transparent process with quick feedback.

Our technology aims to transform how AI is deployed worldwide, including significant model compression and cost reduction. Hybrid role with flexible working hours, in a fast-scaling Series B company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy software systems on the cloud, e.g., AWS.
• Proficiency with Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with APIs and design efficient application workflows.
• Maintainable, high-quality code through best practices such as testing, documentation, and clean design principles, and the ability to instill this in others.
• Collaborate with experts from different professional backgrounds, both in-person and online.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field, or relevant industry experience.
• Expert knowledge of Python and extensive experience in app development (e.g., Flutter or Next.js).
• Junior: 1-2 years of software engineering experience; Mid: 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in developing and deploying software systems on the cloud, e.g., AWS.
• Proficiency with Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong commitment to maintainable, high-quality code through testing, documentation, and clean design principles.
• Excellent communication and soft skills; a people person.
• Ability to work with experts from different professional backgrounds, both in-person and online.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with algorithm development and optimization; designing scalable and robust class structures.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with deep learning models.
• Experience developing, deploying and maintaining RAG-like applications.
