We are seeking an Accounts Payable Accounting professional to join a leading team in a SSC located in the North of Madrid

Client Details

SSC located in the North of Madrid

Description

Your main tasks will be:

• Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding to general ledger accounts
• Prepare and execute payment runs (ACH, wire transfers, checks) in accordance with payment terms
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting
• Respond to vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed

Profile

A successful AP Accounting professional should have:

• Studies related to Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Very high English & Spanish Level. Another EU language is a plus
• Experience of ERP systems, SAP is a plus
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
