We’re Camping, a small-but-mighty brand storytelling & video agency based in Barcelona, helping B2B tech companies transform from "boring" to heartfelt through brand & video storytelling. We’re looking for an Account Manager to help us scale smartly and maintain our creative soul.

The Role

We’re seeking an exceptional Account Manager who is a master of client relationships and a champion of strategic growth. This is a 6-month full-time role, with the possibility to extend.

You’ll be the strategic bridge between our clients and the creative team, nurturing long-term partnerships with a new, globally recognized leader in the workflow automation space. This client’s open-source platform is widely used by developers, IT professionals, and businesses worldwide to connect apps, automate tasks, and streamline complex processes. Your responsibilities include managing the complete client relationship lifecycle—from onboarding to ongoing account growth—ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for expansion. A strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for client success are essential.

This is a full-time position.

Core Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic client partnerships; serve as trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all account matters.
  • Account Strategy Development: Create account plans aligning client objectives with agency capabilities; identify opportunities for growth and service expansion.
  • Client Business Intelligence: Analyze client business model, industry challenges, competitive landscape, and growth objectives to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Navigate complex client organizations and engage multiple stakeholders to ensure account stability and growth.
  • Client Satisfaction & Retention: Monitor account health, conduct satisfaction assessments, and implement retention strategies.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive account expansion through upselling and cross-selling opportunities; develop proposals for additional services.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Conduct quarterly business reviews and annual strategic planning.
  • Contract Management: Lead negotiations, renewals, and scope expansions while maintaining margins and satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about client industry trends and opportunities to position services strategically.
  • Account Project Coordination: Oversee projects to ensure quality, timeline adherence, and budget management across workstreams.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate with internal teams to optimize resource allocation and delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of creative output and service delivery.
  • Budget Management: Monitor profitability and budgets; optimize resource use.
  • Strategic Communication: Lead high-level strategic discussions with client leadership and share performance updates.
  • Account Reporting: Provide regular reports on KPIs, ROI, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal teams to share client insights and ensure consistent account management.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
  • 4-5+ years of proven experience in account management within creative agencies, video production, or marketing services, with demonstrated success in client relationships and growth.
  • Strategic Account Management: Track record of managing key client accounts and driving revenue growth through upselling/cross-selling.
  • Relationship Building Excellence: Ability to build long-term partnerships and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience in contract negotiations, proposals, and growth opportunities for both clients and agency.
  • Communication Mastery: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to present strategic recommendations and create proposals/reports.
  • Creative Industry Expertise: Understanding of creative workflows, video production, agency operations, and translating concepts into business value.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in performance analysis, ROI measurement, budget management, and translating data into strategy.
  • CRM & Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills with CRM systems, project management, analytics, and digital communication tools.
  • High fluency in English (written and spoken). This is mandatory for our international clientele.
The Perfect Fit Will Also Have
  • Senior Account Management Experience: Experience managing strategic accounts in creative or marketing services, especially with B2B tech or SaaS clients.
  • Account Growth Success: History of growing existing accounts through upselling and long-term retention.
  • Remote Client Management: Ability to manage across time zones with distributed teams.
  • Tech Industry Knowledge: Understanding of technology, B2B marketing, workflow automation tools, and trends among developers/IT professionals.
  • Performance Marketing Understanding: Experience with campaign analytics and demonstrating ROI to clients.
  • Open-Source Community Familiarity: Experience with open-source communities or developer-focused products.
  • Strategic Planning Skills: Experience in quarterly business reviews and long-term growth strategies.

Location

This position is based in Barcelona, Spain. We won’t consider candidates who aren’t able to live in Barcelona. For non-contract positions, you must have the right to work in Spain.

Working Model
  • We’re trialing a 4-day workweek with Fridays off. Friday time off is conditional on workload and commitments being managed.
  • Flexible working hours are available; you manage your schedule.
  • Hybrid model with at least two days per week in our Poblenou office.
