A leading global information technology firm in Madrid is looking for an experienced sales professional to drive account growth and retention among Public Sector organizations. The ideal candidate will navigate relationships with senior leaders and execute strategic initiatives. This role offers a hybrid work policy and competitive earnings based on performance.

Formación

  • 5 years of relevant sales experience in a tech/IT environment.
  • Track record of consistent overachievement on goals and targets.
  • Experience using Challenger Sales or a similar sales method is a plus.

As an experienced sales professional you will address your clients most critical priorities. You will identify opportunities for account retention and growth through contract expansion introducing new services and products. This is a field-based role selling directly to Public Sector Organization in Spain.

Responsibilities
  • Build trust-based value-added relationships with C-level executives and their teams primarily the CIO and CIO office.
  • Drive account retention and growth by impacting their most critical priorities and demonstrate Gartner's value.
  • Drive new business with new logos through networking events and your own prospecting.
  • Collaborate across teams, regions and departments sharing best practice to ensure a best-in-class approach to strategic initiatives and growth plans.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of relevant sales experience in a tech / IT environment. Direct sales experience within a software vendor, system integrator, IT consultancy & services or similar environment is highly relevant.
  • Experience selling to Public Sector organizations and institutions is desirable.
  • Experience selling to senior leaders, preferably the CIO.
  • A track record of consistent overachievement on goals and targets.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree is desirable.
  • Native Spanish fluency and English.
  • Experience using Challenger Sales or a similar sales method is a plus.
