Se requiere entre 1 y 3 años de experiencia en ventas B2B, y proporciona una exposición completa al proceso de inversión. El trabajo es remoto, pero el candidato debe estar ubicado en España para viajes ocasionales.

Formación

Account Executive – M&A (Spain)

As a key member of Comet Software’s M&A team, you will play a central role in driving our expansion in Spain. Acting as Comet’s local representative, you will identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities across the country’s vertical software landscape, while building trusted, long‑term relationships with founders.

This role offers hands‑on, end‑to‑end exposure to the investment process — from sourcing and valuation through due diligence and execution — and the opportunity to actively shape the future of Comet Software’s ecosystem. It is a dynamic position suited to someone eager to take ownership, develop quickly, and contribute to building the next generation of European software leaders.

You will work closely with the CEO, Head of M&A, and Sales Director to design targeted outreach initiatives, engage founders, and drive growth across the region.

We are recruiting an Account Executive to cover Spain. The position is remote although we require the person to be located locally as occasional travels will be required to meet prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a cornerstone of Comet Software’s international expansion
  • Partner with the M&A and Executive teams to source and assess acquisition opportunities
  • Lead high‑quality conversations with founders, advisors, and bankers with professionalism and integrity
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with founders, positioning Comet as the partner of choice at the time of sale
  • Act as a trusted local point of contact, providing regular engagement and clear communication before, during, and after transactions
  • Drive relationship‑led sourcing and early alignment of objectives; support strategic discussions and negotiations to structure founder‑friendly deals balancing speed, certainty, and value
  • Continuously refine and enhance origination processes as the platform scales
  • Support operational initiatives and the integration of newly acquired businesses
Profile & Competencies
Experience

1–3 years’ experience in SDR, Business Development, Inside Sales, AE roles within B2B SaaS, technology, M&A, or buy‑and‑build platforms

Professional Skills
  • Strong sales drive with a clear willingness to engage prospects proactively by phone
  • Solid analytical capabilities
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management processes
  • Comfort engaging directly with software company founders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
