A local employment initiative in Barcelona is seeking a candidate for a temporary role in commercial management. The successful applicant will oversee revenue management and the management of Google Ads campaigns. Responsibilities include preparing periodic sales and KPI reports and ensuring coordination of activities. The position requires experience in the tourism/hospitality sector, strong analytical abilities, and fluency in both Spanish and English. The contract starts in early February 2026 and lasts for 6 months.

Formación

Responsibilities
  • Revenue management: short and long term.
  • Review and management of Google Ads campaigns.
  • Monitoring industry news (Hosteltur, Mews Community).
  • Preparation and delivery of periodic sales and KPI reports.
  • Parity control on OTAs and handling of related issues.
  • Management of OTA and Google Ads invoices.
  • Coordination of activities (Yoga, Dance classes, DJs) and related payments.
  • Handling incidents with MEWS, Siteminder, and OTAs.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience in commercial management and revenue management in the tourism/hospitality sector.
  • Advanced knowledge of OTA platforms (Booking, Expedia, Hostelworld) and channel managers (Siteminder, MEWS).
  • Experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Advanced Excel skills (reports, projections, KPIs).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make quick decisions.
  • High level of Spanish and English.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of tools such as Lighthouse and Mailchimp.
  • Experience in budget and invoicing management.
  • Familiarity with parity reports and dynamic pricing.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Contract Details
  • Contract duration: Temporary coverage for parental leave, starting early February 2026 (approx. duration: 6 months).
  • Weekly hours: 40
  • Schedule: 40h (Mon–Fri from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00)
  • Gross annual salary: €21,000
