The 1UL EU DMC Manager is an integrated role, being responsible for flawless design and execution of full funnel media campaigns for the specific category across the 1UL European markets, delivering breakthrough innovation and functional excellence. DMC is designed to be a growth-driving digital acceleration engine that makes our brands unmissable through the strategy and execution of world-class Digital Marketing, Media, and dCommerce plans. The role reports into the 1UL EU DMC Lead.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Deliver holistic media plans for the respective category in line with our social first strategy, leveraging data and insights to target media effectively and build brand power.
  • Be a key partner for the 1UL EU Expertise Category Team and local markets.
  • Lead media strategy and execution across both traditional and digital platforms for the respective category, working closely with agencies, the Virtual Expertise Category Team and local brand teams.
  • Regularly engage with the brand teams to ensure that briefs provide clear input for the agencies including KPIs
  • Track and analyse the performance of the media campaigns using the insights to refine strategies.
  • Drive media innovation – pioneering the future of media and data driven marketing through a continuous test, learn and scale approach.
  • Drive strong discipline in media planning and implementation, land best practice
  • Drive the digital agenda for an end-to-end consumer – including shopper - experience in the respective category.
  • Manage digital asset delivery in collaboration with the respective digital agencies and marketing teams.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • At least 7 years of marketing / media experience.
  • Track record of managing complexity, multi-country projects, and multiple projects within a limited time frame.
  • Passion for the social and digital world and its implications on business.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest social media trends, platform updates and best practices.
  • Understanding of digital and social media metrics and the ability to interpret the results and take actions to increase effectiveness of the campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High proficiency in using analytical tools.
  • Experience with measurement concepts, tools and research design is an advantage
