An established Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting a German-speaking Service Technician (Electrician) to work in their Willich office.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair tasks punctually, as well as independently assembling and commissioning the machines and systems.

The ideal candidate should have experience in service and assembly work within the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering, control systems, and pneumatics.

This role requires fluent English and at least B2-level German, as well as a willingness to go on business trips in Germany and other European countries for up to 50% of the month.

• 39 hours per week
• Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair tasks punctually while meeting quality standards and customer requirements
• Independently assembling and commissioning our machines and systems
• Ensuring operational readiness and process reliability of the equipment, thereby contributing directly to customer satisfaction
• Representing the company during direct customer interactions and providing feedback on customer requirements, market trends, and industry developments
• Providing basic instruction to operating personnel after new installations
• Conducting fault analysis and carrying out repairs on-site
• Diagnosing issues remotely via telephone and determining necessary spare parts
• Preparing and conducting internal and external tests
• Vocational training in electrical engineering, ideally with further qualifications such as a master craftsman or technician (e.g., Mechatronics Engineer, Energy Systems Electronics Engineer, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in service and assembly work
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, control systems, and pneumatics
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• At least B2 level German language skills
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., SAP) is desirable
• Knowledge of PLC programming (SIEMENS or similar) would be advantageous
• Ability to work independently with a meticulous and responsible approach
• Strong service orientation and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally within Europe
• Valid Class B driving licence
