A leading technology company in Karlsruhe is looking for a Director of Global EMECH & PCB Category. The role involves managing procurement strategies, building supplier relationships, and leading negotiations in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in procurement and a Bachelor's degree. A remote work option is available.

The Director, Global EMECH & PCB Category will manage and make critical decisions on all aspects of the global supply base including contracts, commercial/ pricing, supply assurance, innovation, and conflict resolution. The successful candidate will develop and execute category strategies through alignment with HARMAN business units, engineering, quality, and manufacturing activities. Requires knowledge of the business units technology and product roadmaps and specific expertise in the procurement of category components and manufacturing cost structure. The role requires a sophisticated level of relationship management interfacing with business unit presidents and leaders of global suppliers, requiring balancing of interests to maintain mutually beneficial relationships. This person will be the senior escalation/communication point for HARMAN and the supply partner.
