We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer specialized in building modern, secure, and scalable Android applications. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Jetpack Compose and Coroutines, embrace Clean Architecture principles, and deliver performant, maintainable code.
General project description:We are building a financial platform for a regulated institution with EMI and VASP licenses in the Philippines. The solution will combine digital banking and cryptocurrency services, including secure wallets, payments, remittances, and card issuing. A key part of the project is an in-house crypto trading module designed to provide a seamless and compliant experience for a growing global user base.
- Advanced professional experience 5+ years with Android projects written in Kotlin
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Architecture and Patterns usage
- Experience with Security establishment in Android apps
- Deep expertise in Jetpack Compose
- Extensive experience with Coroutines and Flow
- Advanced experience with the main Firebase services
- Solid knowledge of testing principles, experience with Mockk
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team or independently
Skills that will be a plus:
- Third-party APIs – payment system integrations
- Profiling & Optimization – Memory management and performance tuning
