• Development and further development of the Java backend
• Close collaboration with other development teams and product owners to implement features
• Optimization of the performance, stability, and security of our applications
• Implementation of interfaces (REST) and integration of external services
• Writing clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on unit testing
• Working with SQL databases to design, optimize, and maintain data-driven features
• Code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of our development processes

• Several years of professional experience in Java development
• Confident in testing (unit) and agile development methods (Scrum)
• Solid experience with SQL databases (design, queries, optimization), Independent, structured, and goal-oriented teamwork
• Abstract thinking and understanding of complex relationships
• Fluent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
