Qualifikationen

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Java-Entwicklung.
• Sicher im Testen (Unit) und agilen Entwicklungsmethoden (Scrum).
• Solide Erfahrung mit SQL-Datenbanken.
• Fähigkeit zum abstrakten Denken und Verständnis komplexer Zusammenhänge.
• Fließend in Schrift und Sprache in Englisch; Deutsch von Vorteil.

Aufgaben

• Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung des Java-Backends.
• Eng Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Entwicklungsteams zur Implementierung von Features.
• Optimierung der Leistung, Stabilität und Sicherheit der Anwendungen.
• Implementierung von Schnittstellen (REST) und Integration externer Dienste.
• Schreiben von sauberem, wartbarem Code mit Fokus auf Unit Testing.
• Arbeiten mit SQL-Datenbanken zur Gestaltung und Optimierung datengetriebener Funktionen.
• Code-Reviews, Tests und kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Entwicklungsprozesse.

• Development and further development of the Java backend
• Close collaboration with other development teams and product owners to implement features
• Optimization of the performance, stability, and security of our applications
• Implementation of interfaces (REST) and integration of external services
• Writing clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on unit testing
• Working with SQL databases to design, optimize, and maintain data-driven features
• Code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of our development processes

That's You

• Several years of professional experience in Java development
• Confident in testing (unit) and agile development methods (Scrum)
• Solid experience with SQL databases (design, queries, optimization), Independent, structured, and goal-oriented teamwork
• Abstract thinking and understanding of complex relationships
• Fluent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
