Introduction :

Jeppesen GmbH is seeking a Digital Portfolio Sales Director who will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing competitive sales campaigns across Europe. Location: Frankfurt (Neu-Isenburg).

The role :

This position will be instrumental in proactively executing sales and delivery activities to customers within the assigned region.

The role will be hybrid, with an expectation to be onsite 12 days per week when not visiting clients. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Please note, the role is not an executive position but an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities :

  1. Drive sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of customer needs in a consultative manner.
  2. Develop campaign-specific strategies, procure resources, and secure management commitment to ensure success.
  3. Create metrics to monitor campaign project status and budget requirements.
  4. Initiate, maintain, and advance customer relationships, working to be accepted as a trusted business partner.
  5. Establish, maintain, and expand networks to address customer needs and keep communication lines open.
  6. Develop customer solutions by coordinating with internal and external processes and divisions to provide a competitive advantage and foster business growth with acceptable margins.
  7. Identify future business opportunities and promote the value of Boeing's portfolio and partnership.
  8. Build strong relationships within Boeing to partner, engage, pursue, and win new business with both new and existing customers.
  9. Lead proposal preparations by developing themes and discriminators, ensuring the right team members and resources are involved.
  10. Recommend alternative means of compliance to customer requests.
  11. Review and contribute to final draft materials.
  12. Challenge proposed scope and costs to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  13. Lead negotiations and finalize commitments, interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers.
  14. Leverage detailed understanding of customer and Boeing needs to find areas of alignment and integration.
  15. Obtain commitment within management-approved parameters.
  16. Coordinate packaging of Boeing and industry products into complete solutions that meet customer needs.
  17. Leverage company resources by building and leading a capture team to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage, and foster growth through comprehensive understanding of products, services, processes, and resources.
  18. Lead the approval process by advocating customer requirements and selling the business case to management, balancing enterprise and customer goals to meet and drive the Long Range Business Plan (LRBP).

Required Qualifications :

  1. Proven track record as a successful customer-facing professional with strong experience in Sales & Marketing.
  2. Experience interfacing with senior executive leadership.
  3. Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with customers.
  4. Experience managing competitive domestic or international sales campaigns.
  5. Commercial acumen with an understanding of creating mutual benefits for customer and business.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  7. Experience in technology sales or data systems is advantageous.
  8. Academic degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) required.

Language : Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Willingness to travel.

Preferred (nice to have) Qualifications :

  1. Languages: Fluent in Spanish or French.
