We are looking for a globally minded and result-oriented colleague, with organisational skills and an avid interest in culture, to complete our team of thirty people working in a dynamic and international environment. You will assist our Sales team, our Festival Manager, and our founder Philippe Bober.

The company’s founder, Philippe Bober, has collaborated with prominent and pioneering directors from the earliest stages of their careers. He has produced forty-four films to date, the majority of which were selected for the main competitions at Cannes, Venice, and Berlin film festivals. They received major prizes, including the Venice Golden Lion for Roy Andersson’s "A PIGEON SAT ON A BRANCH REFLECTING ON EXISTENCE" and two Palme d’Ors for Ruben Östlund’s "THE SQUARE" and "TRIANGLE OF SADNESS". Coproduction Office's international sales division distributes films with often daring content and a distinctive cinematic language, including those produced by Philippe Bober, acquired titles, and restored classics by Roberto Rossellini, Konrad Wolf, and other master filmmakers. JOB OUTLINE

You will:

  • Work in an international and multilingual environment with a friendly and motivational atmosphere, gaining insight into the independent film industry while working on unique films.
  • Assist our sales executives with market preparation and during markets (scheduling meetings, researching distributors, preparing documents and presentations, assisting logistics, etc.).
  • Follow up with international distributors after markets (preparing information on films, screeners, etc.).
  • Search for prospective partners through market studies; update the clients and sales database; support negotiations for film sales, including reflecting on selling points and gathering information for contracts.
  • Assist with the notarization process, registration of contracts, and tracking film releases (release dates, admission numbers, marketing elements).
  • Support the management of MEDIA Creative Europe funding, including applications and reporting, in collaboration with European distributors.
  • Monitor expiring contracts and negotiate sales strategies with distributors, including pitching ideas for retrospectives and collections.
Candidate Requirements
  • Native or fully fluent in English, with excellent command of French and/or German. Other languages are a plus.
  • Deadline-focused, creative, and able to think outside the box.
  • Experience or interest in the cultural industries and film distribution.
  • Proficient with Excel and passionate about film.
  • Flexible, proactive, and precise.
