Your job

What you do

Your daily responsibilities in Editorial Content will consist of two components: research, including content database management, and editorial work — as detailed below:

• Desktop research (secondary data sources) on the health, pharma, and medical technology market with a focus on French (European) topics.
• Building an understanding of valid data sources and potential data partners in the industry.
• Active generation of research topics for database development, in close communication with the team lead and fellow editors in the industry team.
• Managing SEO-optimized web content via Statista’s Content Management System (CMS), monitoring usage, and keeping the database up to date.

Editorial tasks:

• Editing, publishing, and contextualizing statistical information in English on statista.com, following editorial style and documentation.
• Creating and maintaining editorial products, including individual statistics, reports, trend reports, and topic, industry, and landing pages.

Who you are

• Successful completion of undergraduate studies.
• Exceptional written and spoken English skills; first editorial experience in English (please send a cover letter in English).
• Good French language skills for research; affiliation to France and French topics.
• Ability to describe complicated data concisely and clearly.
• Structured, organized, and independent working style with attention to quality, detail, and accuracy.
• Strong interest in and knowledge of health-related topics.
• Health background is not mandatory; a generalist background is also welcome.
