Your job
What you do
Your daily responsibilities in Editorial Content will consist of two components: research, including content database management, and editorial work — as detailed below:
- Desktop research (secondary data sources) on the health, pharma, and medical technology market with a focus on French (European) topics.
- Building an understanding of valid data sources and potential data partners in the industry.
- Active generation of research topics for database development, in close communication with the team lead and fellow editors in the industry team.
- Managing SEO-optimized web content via Statista’s Content Management System (CMS), monitoring usage, and keeping the database up to date.
Editorial tasks:
- Editing, publishing, and contextualizing statistical information in English on statista.com, following editorial style and documentation.
- Creating and maintaining editorial products, including individual statistics, reports, trend reports, and topic, industry, and landing pages.
Who you are
- Successful completion of undergraduate studies.
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills; first editorial experience in English (please send a cover letter in English).
- Good French language skills for research; affiliation to France and French topics.
- Ability to describe complicated data concisely and clearly.
- Structured, organized, and independent working style with attention to quality, detail, and accuracy.
- Strong interest in and knowledge of health-related topics.
- Health background is not mandatory; a generalist background is also welcome.
