About the Role: We are looking for a self‑driven and detail‑oriented Junior Marketing Translator to join our in‑house localization team. Reporting to the Localization Manager, this role combines expert writing skills with an interest in demand generation and sales communication for an audience of technology experts. As our German Junior Marketing Translator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless translation and localization of marketing content from English into German — maintaining our brand voice for the DACH markets while supporting the distribution of localized content through a variety of different digital marketing channels.

As a Junior Marketing Translator, you will enter a mature marketing program and learn everything about content adaptation, professional translation processes and tools and will be able to work cross-departmental, collaborating with sales, demand generation, website, social and many other internal teams, to support our sales motions. You will be able to make an impact week how our brand in the DACH market is recognized.

- Berlin, Germany

• Machine translation post‑editing of marketing, product, and sales‑related content from English into German
• Conduct research into industry‑specific terminology to ensure high‑quality translations within a technology‑centric SaaS business environment
• Own the end‑to‑end localization process of assets, including MTPE, SEO adaptation, UI/UX review, LQA and adaptation workflows, asset finalization processes, and additional localization best practices that make us stand out in our target market
• Collaborate closely with internal team members to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments
• Perform other duties as needed

• Fluent in German and English
• Excellent German writing and proofreading skills and attention to detail
• Experience in writing within an IT context is a strong plus
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Proactive mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with SEO best practices
• Experience with TMS or CAT tools (e.g., memoQ)
• WordPress experience or proficiency with other content management systems
• Certification in Linguistics or a related field
