Overview

At Eni, we are looking for a Sustainability Specialist within Eni Natural Energies (ENE) in Mozambique. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of sustainability projects and activities in Mozambique, as well as overseeing stakeholder management, grievance procedures, human rights and land management, ensuring positive engagement with all stakeholders.

Main responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation of stakeholder management, grievance mechanisms and human rights-related activities at the local level.
  • Maintain close working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Support the evaluation of the socio-economic context and identify the needs of local communities.
  • Contribute to the definition and development of sustainability priorities and activities at the local level.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of sustainability projects related to ENE.
  • HSE requirements: ensure full compliance with national HSE laws and company policies, implement the HSE Management System, maintain safe working conditions, oversee contractor competence, develop field and HSE strategies, manage project risks and uphold the highest HSE standards throughout project execution.
Skills and experience required
  • Graduate-level education.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) and the local language.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder management systems.
  • Completion of relevant job-related training.
  • Strong managerial and leadership soft skills.
