Your Profile
  • You are studying mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field
  • You are interested in battery technology and experimental battery research
  • You are familiar with the basic function of battery management systems and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)
  • You have the basic knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, ideally of battery modeling
  • Good written and spoken English skills
Your Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support for the development of the electrical, thermal and electrochemical battery model in Matlab/Simulink and parameterization of the model
  • Support for battery testing on the test bench and for processing and analysis of measurement data
  • Support for function development in Matlab/Simul for on-board electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)
What We Offer

The successful candidate will be employed as a student assistant.

The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date and offered for a fixed term of 12 months.

There is an option to extend the contact.

This is a part-time contract position.

The standard weekly hours will be 19 hours.

The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.

The position corresponds to a pay grade of 14.50 € per hourp>
