Tasks

The Solution Engineer plays a crucial role in the sales cycle by demonstrating the unique value of SoSafe’s cybersecurity awareness and human risk management platform. Acting as a trusted advisor, the SE translates business challenges into technical solutions, delivers engaging demos, technical workshops & proof of concept, and supports the sales team in winning new customers. This role requires both technical acumen and strong interpersonal skills to align SoSafe’s offerings with customer needs across the Southern European markets.

Main objectives
  • Become a product expert, fully ramping up on SoSafe’s platform and key use cases
  • Deliver impactful product demos tailored to different industries and regions
  • Support sales teams in technical qualification, customer discovery, and proof-of-concept trials
  • Assist with RFPs, security questionnaires, and compliance-related inquiries
  • Provide feedback to Product and Marketing on customer needs and competitive positioning
Requirements
Core skills needed :
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to conduct engaging workshops and software demonstrations in German and eventually Spanish (Southern Europe)
  • Consultative selling approach: ability to understand customer pain points and tailor messaging accordingly
  • SaaS technical knowledge, including familiarity with integrations (SSO, Active Directory, LMS, APIs)
  • Cybersecurity awareness: understanding of phishing threats, social engineering tactics, and security compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001)
  • Problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Team collaboration skills, working closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams
Nice to have skills
  • Experience with presales methodologies such as Great Demo! or Demo2Win
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity awareness training platforms or experience implementing security awareness programs
  • Experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, account management, SDR / BDR, or customer success
  • Basic understanding of HTML, SCORM (for LMS integrations), and analytics / reporting tools
  • Formal education in Information Management / Science / Security or relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, or AWS Cloud Practitioner)
Years of experience needed

1-3 years in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, SaaS Sales, Customer Success, or IT consulting
