Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

  • Prepare design and technical drawings for metallic, plastic, and composite structures by considering requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address interfaces and resolve engineering challenges.
  • Produce prototyping and design documentation.
  • Coordinate compliance verification with CVE.
  • Leading Design modifications, change requests, engineering orders, and non-conformity reports.
  • Assisting with the development of structural test plan/procedure and test execution of airframe structural components and dynamic systems such as rotor and motor.
  • Support in documenting all design decisions and descriptions.
  • Evaluate & challenge design concepts to deliver optimal structures to ensure safety, manufacturability, maintainability, inspectability etc.
  • Provide inputs for validation and verification processes.
  • Interfacing with suppliers to ensure the proper requirements definition, design, analysis and compliance demonstration.
  • Generating documentations/reports in accordance with the EASA DOA Requirements for Airframe Structures, Rotor blades and Motors mechanical systems.
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Design Engineer role in the aerospace professional environment including composite material experience
  • Knowledge on composite material, manufacturing processes.
  • knowledge of aerospace requirements and standards like CS-23, CS-27, CS 29 and SC-VTOL
  • Good knowledge of a CAD system (preferably Siemens NX) and PLM system (preferably Team Center
  • Problem Solving skills, Teamwork, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to perform basic strength calculations
  • Fluent in English language
