Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Developer to lead the development of onshore wind projects throughout Germany. Based in Berlin, you will take responsibility for managing projects from site identification and feasibility assessment through to permitting and ready-to-build status, working closely with technical, commercial, and regulatory teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the full development lifecycle of onshore wind projects, from site origination and feasibility studies through permitting and financial close.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure viable project sites in collaboration with landowners and local stakeholders.
• Oversee planning and permitting processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, grid, legal, and commercial teams to support integrated project delivery.
• Manage external consultants, including environmental specialists, planners, and technical advisors.
• Conduct commercial assessments and support the preparation of business cases for investment decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, landowners, community representatives, and statutory bodies.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes, market conditions, and industry trends affecting onshore wind development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project development processes and methodologies.
