The JJMT organization is recruiting for a proactive and diligent Senior Financial Analyst, to support the ELC FP&A team inclusive of its toll manufacturing setup with the Norderstedt production site, support new related technology deployments and act as a SC Finance representative in the future business transformation towards end state ensuring seamless financial operations and reporting accuracy throughout.
Role focus is primarily to provide executional support during interim setup stages and ensuring successful transitions towards end state. Navigating through a change journey, it is a varied and important transformational role with the opportunity for the successful candidate to gain exposure to a wide variety of senior business and finance leaders.
Lead plan/budget cycles and month‑end close for the Surgery WCH scope, including
Net inventory review, accounting & analysis.
Validation, posting and reconciliation of toll‑manufacturing charges.
Coordination across supply chain departments to ensure consistent allocation methodologies and correct accounting treatment of supply‑chain costs.
Support the annual cost‑revision process and ongoing maintenance of cost rates and master‑data for accurate product costing.
Ensure a high level of SOX/internal control compliance in day‑to‑day execution, reconciliations and documentation.
Drive continuous improvement in inventory controls and reconciliations (e.g., GRIR, WIP), shortening close timelines and reducing exceptions.
Partner closely with Plant Finance, Tax Planning team and Supply Chain business teams — supporting the transformation to contract manufacturing and embedding new inventory ownership and chargeback setups.
Identify opportunities for further automation and process enhancements to support continuous improvement of reporting accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial processes and system capabilities, driving the successful implementation and adoption of TranSCend & TransAct
By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Senior Financial Analyst will be instrumental in ensuring that both the principal & production site within scope are well-prepared for a smooth transition towards end state.
Required:
3 to 6 years of relevant supply chain finance and/or principal accounting experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry desirable
A minimum of a BA within finance with a demonstrated record of strong technical accounting & compliance knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - collaborating, influencing & framing effectively across all levels of management
Exhibit strong analytical skills, flexibility, and a high level of dedication.
Proficient with ERPs, reporting systems (TM1, SAP, CFIN, Anaplan) and automation solutions (Alteryx, PowerBi)
Ability to build positive relationships and partner with multiple teams and functions
Ability to multi-task, work through ambiguity, deliver and thrive in a fast-paced work environment of evolving technology and business needs
Preferred:
Notions of the German language or German speaking
Experience in supply chain finance is preferred
Knowledge of J&J Worldwide Procedures, Internal Control Handbook, Bravo reporting are an advantage
Experience with a complex systems environment
Fluent in English
up to 20% international travel
