Position : Sales Manager Healthcare (m / f / d) Department : Commercial Reporting to : Sales Director Responsible for : Key Account Managers Key relationships : Customers, Site Operations teams, Regional Supply / Demand Planners, Customer Service, Pricing, Technical Departments, including R&D, Marketing

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies and customer relationship management while building the foundation of expanding our healthcare segment into the D-A-CH market. This role combines strategic coordination and direct sales responsibilities. The Sales Manager will foster collaboration and ensure alignment with business goals. Additionally, the role involves developing key customer accounts, driving revenue growth, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. 50% travel.

Job Purpose
  • Achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Understand the healthcare segment, market trends and customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans in collaboration with the Sales Director and team members.
  • Monitor segment performance, provide coaching and feedback to colleagues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless service delivery to key accounts.
  • Develop a portfolio of high-value customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Engage in regular team meetings to share updates, best practices, and resolve challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Report on segment performance, account status, and strategic initiatives and customer forecasts.
  • Work with Salesforce CRM tool and track opportunities as well as other initiatives, keeping data actual and relevant.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of additional Key Account Managers when appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development.
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare segment in the D-A-CH region.
  • Technical understanding of label- as well as printing and finishing technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills as well as a growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and customer engagement.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, in particular Salesforce and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in an agile environment.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging in complex projects.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and verbal). Additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to undertake national & international travel as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications in sales or business development.
