Job Mission

As Sales Manager, your mission is to drive revenue growth in our hotels in region east with dedicated focus across Meliá Berlin, INNSiDE Berlin, INNSiDE Wolfsburg and Hotel Wolfsburg Centrum Affiliated by Melia by capturing, developing, and retaining key accounts in your designated segment or geographical area. You will execute strategic sales actions aligned with the hotels’ Business Plans, ensuring both quantitative and qualitative objectives are met or exceeded. Your role is pivotal in shaping the commercial success of these properties through proactive account management and market development.

Your responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of budgets and Business Plans for assigned segments and markets.
  • Execute targeted sales actions to achieve revenue goals and enhance market positioning.
  • Manage existing, sign up new local accounts and generate new business opportunities.
  • Respond to business customer requests for the assigned geographical area.
  • Capture new accounts and coordinate with Sales Development for broader opportunities.
  • Monitor performance of strategic accounts and ensure alignment with hotel needs.
  • Lead negotiations for Corporate RFPs and possible Leisure contracts.
  • Prepare Business Cases for new account acquisition and ensure proper documentation.
  • Identify new business opportunities in traditional and emerging markets.
  • Represent the hotels at industry events, sales actions, and professional forums.
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Global Sales Team and internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Coordinate site inspections, Fam Trips, and virtual sales actions to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Prepare reports for Business Reviews and track progress against objectives.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and support in budget projections.
  • Representing the Head of Sales in case of absence.
What are we looking for
  • Education: Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar sales role, ideally within a cluster hotel environment.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English; a third language is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Business and Leisure segment hotel operations.
  • Proficient in Salesforce applications, OPERA, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
