The Role

We are looking to strengthen our Sales & Growth team in Cologne. You will be part of building up our 1 year-old office combined with your main responsibility around sales, business development, account management & customer success. You will be finding and establishing new clients and engagements, maneuvering existing client engagements, as well as collaborating closely with consultants at Netlight to find a great match between Netlighters and client engagements. You will create business collaborations and drive digital change by taking end-to-end ownership of every part of the client engagement lifecycle together with your passionate team. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Exploring the Cologne tech scene, identifying potential clients and their needs
  • Reaching out to potential clients and owning the full sales cycle
  • Meeting and networking with local industry leaders with the aim of building strong, genuine and sustainable relationships
  • Working closely together with clients, your passionate team, and our IT consultants across offices

Note: At Netlight, the internal name for this function is Engagement Search/Engagement Management.

Requirements
  • Recently graduated / Young Professional
  • Relevant Master's degree (or Bachelor\'s degree + full-time experience)
  • Business-level fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Passion for sales, tech, networking, and entrepreneurship
  • Relevant experience in sales, business development, start-ups, consulting, or similar, ideally in a tech-heavy environment, through internships, working student jobs, or full-time experience (up to 2 years)
