ABOUT THE TEAM

You will join a dedicated and dynamic team focused on driving Tide’s market success in Germany. The Tide Germany team is in an exciting growth phase, bringing together professionals with deep expertise in financial services technology and local market dynamics. As part of this expanding team you’ll have the opportunity to shape Tide’s presence in Germany, delivering innovative solutions for small business owners. Partner Credit Services is Tide’s SME lending marketplace product vertical. Working with lending partners, Partner Credit Services connects business owners to the right funding for founders moving their business to the next level and for entrepreneurs negotiating a tough market.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sales Executive you will join our Sales Team and report directly to the Team Lead Sales. This is a position within our sales team requiring experience in credit brokerage, lending and related sales with a demonstrable track record of success who can hit the ground running. Your expertise in SME lending and sales in Germany will help as many customers as possible access the right finance solution via our lender partners.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Customer engagement: Contact, engage and manage our SME customers through their lending application process
  • Prospecting: Outbound prospecting from our CRM and other channels to drive a consistent pipeline
  • Build trust with customers: Articulating the different finance options across multiple business finance product classes while keeping up to date on industry trends, market and competition
  • Delivering the best-in-class lending experience: Leveraging knowledge of business finance and understanding the range of lenders and products
  • Partner engagement: Closely interact with and manage operations with our lending partners
  • CRM data upkeep: Maintaining accurate up-to-date information on prospects in Salesforce
  • Drive a world-class sales team culture: Share stories and successes with the wider organisation through relevant channels

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tide is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to help it become the most trusted SME platform in Germany. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Credit Brokerage, Financial advisory and customer-facing sales
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience in a 360 sales role and/or outbound prospecting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented work ethic with attention to detail, determination and drive
  • Obsessed with delivering the highest level of customer service
  • Well organized, analytical and able to work under pressure
  • Strong in troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively
  • Ability to engage and establish strong working relationships quickly
  • Self-starter who works towards targets without needing constant direction
  • Fluency in German and English
