Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for Property Adjusters to join our Workforce Advantage team in Ontario. The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle property claims by telephone and correspondence. The candidate should be able to work effectively with insureds, adjusters, clients, and others. The role involves providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.

As part of the Workforce Advantage team, you would be on our roster to be contacted and placed on a contract with our clients based on availability and fit. You would be an employee of Crawford & Co. but would work at various insurance company offices/sites (remotely). The position is a contract typically lasting 3-12 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of functional and technical property claims handling experience in an insurance environment
• Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field is considered an asset
• Must be able to obtain license or work towards CIP designation
• Experience in property adjusting, including investigation and detailed reporting of residential and commercial properties
• Strong computer and reporting skills including Office 365
• Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for career growth

Résumé de la Position

Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un Expert en sinistre habitation pour se joindre à notre équipe en Ontario, Canada. Le candidat retenu enquêtera, évaluera, négociera et réglera les réclamations de lignes commerciales par téléphone et par correspondance. Le candidat dirigera les experts en sinistres sur le terrain selon les besoins. Il participera à l’exactitude de l’enregistrement, de la production de rapports et de la présentation des dossiers.

Qualifications

• 2 ans d’expérience technique dans un environnement de sinistres d’assurance, la connaissance des lignes commerciales étant un atout
• Études postsecondaires dans un domaine lié à l’assurance en vue d’obtenir une licence complète et une désignation de PAA
• Capacité à mener des enquêtes téléphoniques, à évaluer, négocier et régler les réclamations relatives aux lignes commerciales de première et de tierce partie
• Compétences informatiques avancées, y compris Office 365
• Excellentes compétences en communication
• Doit être un joueur d’équipe avec un engagement fort envers la qualité et le service à la clientèle
