Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (Supply)

Location: Derbyshire DE65

Start Date: November 2025

Salary: £13.69 - £14 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a warm and welcoming nursery based in Derbyshire. They are looking for an experienced staff member who can nurture each child and encourage them to become confident and independent. The nursery is looking to take on a supply Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who can cover 8am-5.30pm shifts. The nursery is looking to take on a kind and caring staff member who will go above and beyond to support every child’s needs and create a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Observe children and assess where they are in their developmental journey
• Plan the appropriate next step to support development
• Cover 8am-5.30pm shifts as a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
• Nurture each child and encourage them to become confident and independent
• Support the learning environment in a positive, caring manner

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (required)
• A bright and bubbly personality
• Experience supporting children in nursery settings
• First Aid Qualification (preferred)
• A caring and inspiring approach to children
• Ability to work under pressure
• Driving License (preferred)
• Flexible and reliable
