As solar energy adoption continues to grow, end-of-life management of components such as solar panels and associated materials becomes increasingly critical. To address this, we are exploring opportunities in recycling infrastructure to support a more sustainable value chain.
We are looking for a motivated Master\'s student to conduct a feasibility study on solar PV recycling in Europe with a main focus on solar modules (potentially extending to batteries). As plants age, recycling is becoming not only an environmental responsibility but also a business opportunity. Currently, we rely on third-party providers, so this thesis will explore whether in-house recycling could be a strategic and financially viable option.
