IT Support Technician (f / m / d)

Permanent contract, 40hrs / week

Job Profile

You will be expected to provide first line help-desk support to our customers, assisting them with hardware and software problems (Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory) via phone, email and a ticketing system.

  • Installation, configuration, and repair of hardware including installation of operating systems and applications.
  • First line support for our inhouse ERP system, whilst supporting MS Active Directory and cloud-based applications.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions across Active Directory.
  • Remote troubleshooting and fault finding.
  • Deliver a high level of professional customer service on the phone and face-to-face when necessary.
  • Where relevant, arrange for external support when incidents cannot be resolved in-house.
  • Escalate more complex calls to specialist IT support staff.
  • Maintain an organised daily structure, working to complete assigned jobs in an adequate time frame.
  • You will be expected to work under pressure and have an excellent telephone manner.
  • Occasional Saturday work may be required depending on operational need.
Requirements
  • IT related qualification desirable.
  • Polite, confident, and effective communicator.
  • Sincere passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent time management and priority determination skills.
  • Maintaining a high standard of work and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence are considered as an asset.
  • Driving license required.
  • English and German: business fluent; language skills in Luxemburgish and / or French are considered as an asset.
