Overview

As Team Lead IT – 1st & 2nd Level Support, you are responsible for the operational stability, further development, and future readiness of our IT landscape. You lead a small IT support team, ensure excellent user support, and actively contribute to the development of a scalable, secure IT infrastructure.
Your skillset
- Several years of professional experience in IT support, system administration, or IT infrastructure
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, PowerShell, Hyper-V, Arcserve, Synology, Firewall systems (e.g. OPNsense) and Ticketing systems (e.g. Greyhound)
- Strong experience in 1st- and 2nd-level IT support
- Solid knowledge of networking and IT security fundamentals
- Experience with virtualization, backup, and storage systems

Operational IT Support
- Full responsibility for 1st- and 2nd-level IT support
- Confident use of ticketing systems (e.g. Greyhound or comparable tools)
- Active user support / helpdesk, including:
- Setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of printers
- Configuration and support of end-user devices
- General workplace IT support for employees
Workplace & Cloud Environment
- Administration and operation of the Microsoft 365 environment, including:
- User, role, and permission management
- Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Automation and administration using PowerShell
Network, Server & Infrastructure
- Experience with firewall systems, especially OPNsense
- Basic understanding of network topologies, IT security principles, and access control concepts
- Hands-on responsibility for:
- Hyper-V (virtualization, operations, troubleshooting)
- Arcserve (backup and recovery strategies)
- Synology (storage, backup, permissions)
- Responsibility for on-premises server operations
- Experience with terminal server environments (RDS) and load balancing concepts
- Ensuring performance, availability, and system stability
IT Strategy, Automation & AI
- Development and implementation of a sustainable IT infrastructure strategy
- Evaluation of new technologies, systems, and architectures
- Planning for scalability, security, and future readiness
- Use of PowerShell for automation and standardization
- Basic understanding and practical use of AI-powered tools
- Evaluation of meaningful AI use cases within the company context
- Close collaboration with HR and Management
