Freelance Creative Strategist – Performance Marketing (D2C Brand)

We’re a fast-growing D2C brand shaking up the industry across Europe and the US. We’ve built a passionate community around comfort, empowerment, confidence, and creativity — and now we’re looking for a Freelance Creative Strategist to join our team and take our performance marketing to the next level.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead the ideation, scripting, and production of thumb-stopping video ads and performance creatives.
  • Translate brand messaging into engaging campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Help build and lead a high-performing creative team.
  • Partner closely with marketing and influencer teams to develop creative angles that resonate across paid social (TikTok, Meta, etc.).
  • Analyze performance data to refine messaging, hooks, and ad iterations.
  • Stay on top of cultural trends, competitor campaigns, and emerging formats to keep us ahead of the curve.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in creative strategy for D2C or consumer brands, ideally with a focus on video ad production.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and how creative impacts ROAS and growth.
  • A strong sense of organization, creativity, and project management.
  • Proactive, autonomous, and results-driven mindset.
  • Data-driven with a passion for optimization and testing.
  • A mix of creative flair and analytical thinking — you can write a killer hook, then test and scale it.
  • Passion for consumer brands, storytelling, and pushing creative boundaries.
  • Fluent in English (German is a bonus).
