Events Analyst

At Tennium we are looking for an experienced, proactive and talented Events Analyst who is eager to grow and make a real impact. You will join to our Events team, playing a key role in the day-to-day preparation, development and execution of the events that Tennium owns in Germany (ATP500 Hamburg). An interest in the world of sport is essential — and if you’re a tennis fan, even better!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Pre-event:

• Support in the definition of the event, elaborating the concept paper of what the tournament will be.
• Create written proposals (power point) and presentations to clients.
• Source, negotiate and work with vendors and suppliers (merchandising, Fan Zone…)
• Coordinate graphic material production: visuals, banners, flyers…

During event:

• Help coordinating technical and production aspects.
• Account Management: work with sponsors on tournament activations and act as liaison supporting all sponsor needs.
• Support marketing & communications activities.
• Support activations and tournament activities (fans, hospitality…)
• Participate in the execution of other specific areas in events/activities.
• Support the production manager in specific tasks and in the execution of the event.

Post-event:

• Prepare the report for sponsors.
• Track, analyze and report back the events results.
• Work with other departments.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s in business administration or similar
• 2+ years of experience working in the sports and events business.
• Exceptional knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Excellent verbal and written German and English required.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, positive and full of energy.
• Flexible to accommodate urgent requests and to work even at irregular hours including possible overtime and weekends as per event requirements.
• Excellent planning, time management, organization and presentation skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and proven problem-solving ability.
• Able to manage stress and operate under intense event environments and requirements.
• Good team player but also able to work independently on specific workstreams.
• Availability to travel.
