This is a remote position.
Strategic Market Development
- Full responsibility for the entire sales cycle of Battery Storage Systems, Solarparks, and PV modules in the DACH region
- Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for all market segments (Utility, Developer, EPC and IPP)
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and growth potential.
Key Account Management & Business Development
- Build, maintain, and expand key customer relationships in the energy, industrial, and utility sectors.
- Develop partnerships with EPCs, project developers, utilities, and investors
- Negotiate and close framework agreements and strategic partnerships.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Establish and lead a task force (Sales Managers & Technical Manager)
- Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and After‑Sales teams
Sales Management & Target Achievement
- Responsible for revenue and profit
- Prepare sales forecasts, budget planning, and reports to the General Manager
- Present and communicate LONGi Solar’s products and unique value propositions to senior executives of prospective customers
- Conduct market and industry analysis, working cross‑functionally to formulate effective marketing strategies
- Conduct regular visits and maintain strong business relationships with high‑value customers
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams
- 10+ years of proven experience in selling complex technical solutions, ideally in battery storage, solarparc sales, sales of modules, renewable energy, energy infrastructure, or electrical engineering
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex contractual negotiations involving multiple stakeholders
- Skilled in value-based selling and in developing strategic account plans
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and incentive programs for energy storage in Europe
- Strong network with EPCs, developers, utilities, and investors in the energy sector
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills at C-level
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, operational mindset.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Europe region.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
